TelComm Credit Union Partners with Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield for Financial Literacy

We're thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership between Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield and TelComm Credit Union, aimed at empowering young minds through financial literacy education. TelComm, deeply rooted in the Southwest Missouri community, has pledged $25,000 to sponsor Financial Literacy programs at BGCS this year.

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield, we believe in nurturing the potential of every child and providing them with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed in life.

Through our various programs, we strive to equip young people with essential life skills, including financial literacy. “At BGCS, we exist to provide equitable access to opportunity for the kids and families who need us most,” said Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield’s CEO, Brandy Harris. “We are so thankful for partners like TelComm who help us fulfill that mission through financial education and support.”

Strong financial literacy skills empower individuals to make informed decisions about their money, paving the way for financial stability and success. Through workshops, interactive activities, and real-world simulations, financial literacy programs at BGCS provide Club members with practical knowledge about budgeting, saving, investing, and more.
