Edward Sands

Edward is originally from Orlando, Florida and first worked for Boys & Girls Clubs as a youth development professional in college. Before returning to the movement, he worked as a paraprofessional and then in collegiate athletics for eight years. He has a bachelor’s degree in recreation from Evangel University.

Edward says he chooses to work at the Club, because he enjoys the opportunity to impact the next generation. It’s his aim to be for kids, the person he needed when he was younger.

Edward’s wonderful wife Ashley is a special education teacher. Together, they have three children, Ronan, Reid and Remi. In his free time, he loves watching and playing sports and cutting hair.
